The Ministry of Justice has today published its review of the Employment Tribunal fees system.  Although stating that the introduction of fees for bringing employment tribunal claims has broadly "met its objectives", there are some "issues of concern" identified - including a fall in claims which is significantly greater than expected.

As a result, a consultation has been opened to consider proposals to extend the scope of support to people on lower incomes in relation to the fees and specifically adjustment to the Help with Fees scheme, although there is no suggestion that the actual fees will be changed.
